California State University Long Beach Celebrates Grand Opening of Anna W. Ngai Alumni Center

LOS ANGELES – California State University Long Beach (CSULB) Anna W. Ngai Alumni Center is now open. Commercial contractor The PENTA Building Group announced official completion in 2022 as the building is now accessible to students and alumni. Officials and other VIPs gathered at the event for a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

The venture led by PENTA is a nearly 7,000 gross square foot ground-up new Alumni Center, which now serves as a welcoming campus portal aimed to inspire, facilitate and sustain alumni interaction by providing event space for the campus and wider community. As the symbolic home for all alumni returning to campus, the Alumni Center showcases CSULB 49er memorabilia, and provides an inviting space to socialize and continue friendships formed at the university.

“We’re thankful to the team at CSULB for their partnership as we continue our work in constructing major projects in the Southern California higher education landscape,” said Adam Noureddine, Senior Project Manager at The PENTA Building Group. “Students and alumni will surely benefit from the new space and we look forward to seeing the lasting impact that this center will provide for generations to come.”

Current students and alumni alike will have a central location on campus to promote career development, networking, mentoring and employment opportunities, creating an inspired venue for learning, engagement and entrepreneurial activities.

PENTA is responsible for constructing multiple projects in the higher education sector across Southern California, Nevada and Arizona. Other specialty industries include healthcare, gaming, hospitality and entertainment.
