A 4-year-old child was hospitalized Wednesday evening after falling from a fifth-story window at an apartment building in Long Beach, according to authorities and witnesses at the scene.
Police and firefighters responded at approximately 6 p.m. to the 1000 block of Long Beach Boulevard after receiving reports of a child who had fallen from the building.
The child was rushed to a nearby hospital and was reported to be in critical but stable condition.
