Gunman is dead after multiple people shot in Long Beach. Long Beach police was dispatched just after 2:25 PM to calls of an active shooter.
When police arrived, multiple people were found suffering from gunshot wounds. LBPD said a victim and the shooting suspect were dead at the scene. It appeared the suspect may have taken his or her own life. The shooting is considered “This was a workplace violence incident,” according to Sgt. Brad Johnson of Long Beach Police.
Another person was shot and had transported themselves to a hospital in stable condition.
All three people involved are male adults and employees of a law firm at the location.
The shooting brought a massive response from police, who filled the surrounding blocks after the shooting.
