LONG BEACH, CA — Two men were shot early Monday morning in the 3400 block of Artesia Boulevard, Long Beach police said.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 1:57 a.m. on Feb. 2, 2026. When they arrived, they found two adult male victims, both suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to the lower body.
Officers immediately rendered medical aid until Long Beach Fire Department personnel arrived on scene. The victims were then transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their conditions were not considered life-threatening.
Police said the suspect fled the area before officers arrived. No suspect description has been released.
The motive for the shooting and the circumstances leading up to it remain under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Long Beach Police.
