LONG BEACH, Calif. — A person was killed in a shooting Saturday night in North Long Beach.
Officers responded around 9:20 p.m. on April 11 to the area of Cherry Avenue and Artesia Boulevard, where they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim was unconscious and not breathing at the scene.
Fire personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
Investigators recovered multiple shell casings near a gas station in the area, and several nearby vehicles were also struck by gunfire.
No suspect information has been released, and the motive for the shooting remains under investigation. We are waiting on more information from LBPD. Notified by Streaming562
