Wednesday At 10:50 PM, Long Beach Fire units responded to a reported injury traffic accident north bound 405 Fwy just north of Orange Ave. Upon arrival LBFD crews found two patients who were riding one motorcycle. Both patients were transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The motorcycle had caught fire. The vehicle that struck the motorcycle was not on scene. CHP is investigating, Alcohol impairment may have been a factor,” said a CHP officer regarding the crash. It shutdown three northbound lanes on the 405 Freeway for more than an hour. Video by Steve M.
