A man was taken into custody after 4 hour long standoff. The suspect allegedly barricaded himself into a apartment building around 11:15am. LBPD officers were dispatched to a person heard screaming in the 1200 block of Magnolia Avenue. The preliminary investigation indicates the incident is related to domestic violence. Officers are attempting to call the suspect out of a residence. Swat team was then called out to assist.
Magnolia Avenue, from Anaheim to 11th St., was closed to thru traffic while the investigation continued. Streets are now open
