Long Beach Police say man shot in possible gang related shooting
On Thursday July 9th at approximately 10:36 P.M. Officers responded to the 1700 block of Cerritos Avenue regarding a shooting. Officers arriving on scene located a male adult victim was struck by gunfire. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. The Gang Detectives responded and it’s being investigated as a possible gang related incident says Sgt. Megan Zabel with the Long Beach Police Department, The investigation is ongoing.
