Authorities Identify Long Beach Man Killed in Saturday Shooting

Saturday night around 11:30pm Long Beach Police Department was called to the area of 7th Street and Orange Avenue regarding a possible shooting. When officers arrived they found a male adult victim with gunshot wounds to his upper torso. The Long Beach Fire Department determined the victim to be deceased.

The victim has been identified as Jonathan Sandoval-Aleman a 23 year old resident of Long Beach. Friends identify him as a talented up-and-coming rapper Johnny Hash.

Long Beach Police Homicide detectives arrived to the scene and it is unknown at this time if the incident is gang related, the investigation remains ongoing.
