Two Minors Reported Missing in Long Beach

UPDATE: Gabriela Lopez and Eddie Bernal Jr. returned home on 6/16/2023 at 9:00 p.m. unharmed and reunited with a relative.

The Long Beach Police Department was asking for the public’s help locating a 13-year-old at-risk missing person, Gabriela Lopez and 11-year-old at-risk missing person Eddie Bernal Jr., who were last seen on June 16, 2023, at approximately 11:00 a.m.

 

Lopez and Bernal Jr. were last seen running away from home in the 4000 block of East 10th Street. Their destination is unknown, and both have run away in the past. They are on foot, have non-working cell phones, no tracking devices, and an unknown amount of cash.

At-risk missing person Gabriela Lopez is described as follows:

Age: 13-years-old
Gender: Female
Race: Hispanic
Height: 5’4″
Weight: 110 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Gray crop top, blue sweatpants, white Adidas and red backpack
Scars/ Marks/ Tattoos: None

At-risk missing person Eddie Bernal Jr. is described as follows:

Age: 11-years-old
Gender: Male
Race: Hispanic
Height: 5’4″
Weight: 100 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Short hair cut, dark shirt, dark blue sweatpants with side pockets, red or black Jordans
