Caught on Camera: Man Seen Slamming Dog to Ground in Long Beach
LONG BEACH, CA – A shocking act of animal abuse was caught on surveillance footage early Monday morning in Long Beach, prompting outrage from the community and urgent calls for public assistance in identifying the suspect.
At 5:36 AM on April 21st, outside 235 E. 12th Street, a man was recorded violently slamming a dog to the ground. The graphic footage shows the suspect forcefully throwing the dog onto the pavement before walking away. The condition and whereabouts of the dog are currently unknown. The Long Beach Police Department is aware of the incident and is investigating.

Neighbors who reviewed the footage described the scene as “sickening” and “heartbreaking.” Many in the area are stunned by the violence and hope the footage will lead to swift justice.
