Long Beach Airport’s Festival of Flight Returns October 25

Long Beach Airport’s (LGB) popular Festival of Flight is set to soar once again on Saturday, October 25, 2025, bringing thousands of visitors together to celebrate the city’s deep aviation roots and vibrant community spirit.

The free, family-friendly event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the west end of the airfield, featuring a variety of attractions for aviation enthusiasts and locals alike. Guests can expect aircraft on static display, live music, activities for kids, and a diverse selection of food and beer for purchase.

Organizers encourage attendees to bring water, wear comfortable shoes, and prepare to spend the day outdoors — the event will go on rain or shine. To ensure safety, coolers will not be allowed, and bags will be subject to search upon entry. Service animals are welcome, but pets are not permitted.

The Festival of Flight has become one of Long Beach’s signature community events, offering residents and visitors a chance to experience aviation up close while celebrating the city’s historic connection to flight.
