Long Beach homicide detectives have arrested two suspects in connection with the October 25, 2025, fatal shooting of a man in the 100 block of La Verne Avenue.

Following an extensive investigation, detectives identified the primary suspect as Jason Loving, 41, of Harbor City. Loving was taken into custody in Compton and booked at Long Beach City Jail on charges of murder, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and violation of a restraining order. His bail was set at $2 million.
Investigators also arrested Dasmine Hall, 31, of Compton, who was allegedly with Loving when the shooting occurred and fled the scene with him. Hall was booked for murder and accessory to murder, with her bail also set at $2 million.
