Teenagers Shot in Long Beach; Police Investigating

LONG BEACH, Calif. — Three teenage boys were involved in a shooting Thursday evening in Long Beach, authorities said.

LBPD Officers were dispatched at approximately 5:29 p.m. on Dec. 11, 2025, to a reported shooting in the 800 block of Orange Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located three male juvenile victims at the scene.

One of the teens suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to his upper and lower body. Officers rendered immediate aid until Long Beach Fire Department paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital. A second teen was treated at the scene by paramedics for a minor gunshot wound to his upper body. The third teen was not injured.

Preliminary investigation indicates the victims were confronted by a group of male suspects. Following a verbal exchange, one of the suspects opened fire on the teens. The suspects fled the area before officers arrived.
