This morning Long Beach Fire Department responded to a sinking vessel in the Rainbow Harbor/Marina Long Beach.
Just after 7:40am rescue crews arrived finding a 40’ sail boat already underwater that was docked at the marina. Rescue Boat crews boomed off the area for containment.
Notifications to Coast Guard, Health, Fish & Wildlife were made. No reports of injuries, the owner was on location after the Coast Guard took over the investigation.
