Man Hijacks Police Car Crashes in Downtown Long Beach
A man is in custody after he took a cop car for a joy ride in downtown Long Beach Monday night around 8:30pm.
LBPD officers were investing a call at 400 w Broadway when a man stole the police vehicle, he then crashed into two parked vehicle a few blocks away at 100 block Broadway.
Suspect was rushed to local hospital, possible broken leg. No officers injured and the investigation is ongoing.
