On Wednesday at approximately 9:00 p.m., LBPD officers responded to a traffic collision involving a semi-truck with an attached trailer and a bicyclist at the intersection of Artesia Boulevard and Downey Avenue, which resulted in the death of a female adult.
When Long Beach police officers arrived they found a 56-year-old female resident of Bellflower who had sustained serious injuries after being struck by a semi-truck.
