Police Seek Public Help to find At-Risk Person

UPDATE: According to LBPD as of 1/6/22, missing person David Alejandro Quiroz safely returned to his care facility, unharmed. Thank you all who helped search for David.

Original Post: LONG BEACH – The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a 46-year-old at-risk missing person, David Alejandro Quiroz, who was last seen on Jan. 5 at approximately 12:45 p.m.

Quiroz was last seen walking away from his care facility in the 1000 block of Walnut Avenue. Quiroz suffers from medical conditions and may easily become disoriented. He left on foot, is familiar with mass transit systems, and has taken transit systems out of Long Beach. He likes to frequent local convenience stores. Due to his medical condition, Quiroz may exhibit childlike behavior with temper tantrums and may appear violent. 

At-risk missing person David Quiroz is described as follows:

Age: 46-years-old
Gender: Male
Race: Hispanic
Height: 5’09”
Weight: 245 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Light beige shirt, blue pants, and white shoes
Medical Alerts: has medical condition(s) and may become easily disoriented
