Deadly Stabbing at Restaurant on 2nd in Long Beach 

A fatal stabbing incident occurred at a Long Beach restaurant overnight, prompting an ongoing investigation.

Long Beach Police Department responded to a call at Dave’s Hot Chicken on 2nd Street and Covina Avenue around 1 a.m. Sunday, discovering a man with a stab wound to his upper body.

Despite efforts, the victim, yet to be identified, succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to the hospital. The circumstances leading to the stabbing remain unclear, but initial findings indicate a physical altercation between the victim and the suspect, resulting in the stabbing before the suspect fled the scene.

Authorities are yet to establish a motive for the attack.
