Woman, 5 dogs killed after police pursuit crash in Long Beach
On Tuesday the LBPD were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle, which caused a major collision on East 3rdStreet and Temple Avenue in Long Beach.

A woman and 5 dogs were killed in the violent collision. LBPD took the other dogs to Signal Hill pet hospital.
Police say officers found a vehicle that was reported stolen and attempted to stop the driver near Broadway and Alamitos Avenue at about 11:30 a.m.

LBPD says the suspect crashed into a black car with a female driver and six dogs, the woman and four of the dogs were killed. Two dogs were taken to a local veterinarian. Their condition is unknown. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
