John Ross III Foundation Hosts Their Annual Celebrity Basketball Game

The John Ross III celebrity basketball game will return this Sunday, June 30 at 4:30 at the Long Beach City College gym.
Hip-hop legend and Long Beach local, Snoop Dogg, as well as Ross, will be coaching this year’s basketball game. Other celebrities will be hitting the court such as Trey Songz, OT Genesis, Desean Jackson, and more.

This charity event started in 2018 as an athletes versus celebrities flag football match, with all their donations for the event being forwarded to the John Ross III Foundation.

Ross started this non-profit organization as a mission to have adolescents make their dreams become a reality. They provide educational opportunities, mentors, and other extracurricular activities for these young people to succeed at their highest potential.

Ross is currently a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals. He played high school football at Long Beach Poly, and then attended the University of Washington just before he got drafted the NFL in 2017. He was chosen in the first round and the ninth pick to join the Bengals.

Tickets can be purchased at starting at $10.
