LB Festival of Flight is Ready for Take-Off
Long Beach Airport’s (LGB) popular Festival of Flight will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2. The annual free event features a variety of aircraft on display, live music and entertainment, food trucks and activities for kids.
Aircraft on display include a Gulfstream G650 jet, H-60 Seahawk and P-8 Poseidon, as well as a C-17 Globemaster and KC-10 Extender, both of which were manufactured in Long Beach.
Last year’s festival drew approximately 15,000 people throughout the day, and thousands more are expected again this year as public interest in the event has grown.
- U.S. Army color guard from the Long Beach Recruiting Station.
- Airport partners, such as fixed-base operators, helicopter operators and law enforcement divisions.
- Live entertainment, including the California Feetwarmers, The Satin Dollz and Knyght Ryder.

Long Beach Airport, Taxiway B, located on the west end of the airfield at 3590 E. Wardlow Rd.
Parking:
Free parking will be available at the corner of East Wardlow Road and Globemaster Way. Alternate modes of transportation, such as cycling, carpooling, ride-sharing and public transportation are highly encouraged.
