Racist rants caught on camera now police seek help locating Long Beach women

A woman was seen on multiple viral videos were she unleashed racist remarks against three people at a park in Torrance, she is also suspected of physically assaulting two people months earlier.

Torrance Police have identified the woman as Lena Hernandez, 54 of Long Beach. She has not yet been taken into custody, Torrance PD are actively searching for her.  Anyone with information about Ms. Hernandez or if you believe you are a victim of this same person, is asked to call TPD at 310-328-3456.

Local officials and law enforcement are urging anyone who knows Hernandez’s whereabouts and any other potential victims to contact police.

“I really hope there are no other victims. But if there are, I hope they come forward and let us know,” Torrance Mayor Patrick Furey told reporters during a Friday afternoon news conference.

On Friday morning, protesters gathered at the park where Hernandez is accused of verbally attacking people. They wore all black and worked out together, paying tribute to the victim seen in the first video that surfaced Wednesday.
