Details Regarding Fatalities:

  • 153 are associated with long-term care facilities (LTCF)
  • Ages:
    • 2 were in their 20s
    • 5 were in their 40s
    • 23 were in their 50s
    • 57 were in their 60s
    • 57 were in their 70s
    • 67 were in their 80s
    • 34 were over 90 
  • 103 female, 142 male
  • 244 individuals had underlying health conditions

Today’s Highlights:

  • The City, in coordination with the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights Los Angeles (CHIRLA), is providing free COVID-19 mobile testing for traditionally underserved Latinx and undocumented communities. Testing will be available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. without an appointment this weekend at the following locations:
    • Saturday, Sept. 26, at Washington Middle School (1450 Cedar Ave.)
    • Sunday, Sept. 27, at Starr King Elementary School (145 E. Artesia Blvd.)

Long-Term Care Facility Case Information:

  • A total of1,474 positive cases have been confirmed at LTCFs in the city since the start of the pandemic (see attachment).
