2nd Alarm Fire at Apartment Carport in Long beach

2nd Alarm fire broke out at an apartment carport and extended into an auto body shop around 8:15pm on Wednesday night. LBFD firefighters quickly responded to the 1300 block of Stanley avenue in Mid Long Beach.

The fire was knocked down in about 30 minutes and was contained. The apartment was evacuated for about an hour as a precaution, no injuries were reported. Anaheim street was closed for a few hours.
