Update Located: Police seek public’s help locating critical missing person Lester Jackson

Update 1/8/2021 at 2:30 p.m.:

On Jan. 8, 2021 at approximately 1:15 p.m., critical missing person, Lester Jackson, was located unharmed by a Good Samaritan in the City of Long Beach. The Good Samaritan transported Jackson to a nearby police station and officers were able to reunite him with family.  

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 76-year-old critical missing person, Lester Jackson, who was last seen on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2020, at approximately 4:00 p.m.

Jackson was last seen traveling on-foot near the 1500 block of Daisy Avenue. Jackson suffers from medical conditions and may become easily disoriented. His destination is unknown, and he is new to the Long Beach area.

The critical missing person is described as follows: 
Age: 76-years-old 
Gender: Male 
Race: Black 
Height: 5’03” 
Weight: 155 lbs 
Hair: Black and gray hair 
Eyes: Brown 
Clothing: Black “LA” hat, red windbreaker, blue t-shirt with clear jewels, black thermal undershirt, black jeans 
Medical Alerts: Has medical conditions and may become easily disoriented
