2ND and PCH Hosts an Array of Family Friendly Events for Spring

2ND and PCH will be hosting free community events including Hoppin’ Photos with the ‘Hoppin Bunny’, an artisan Makers market, and more from March 30 to April 23.

2ND and PCH have been offering an array of events each month since their opening in 2019, with their mission being centered around the community.

“We’re proud of the number of special programs and events we offer including community partnerships, live music, outdoor film screenings, and seasonal activities and gatherings,” says a spokesperson from 2ND and PCH.

With this mission continuing, these series of events for March and April are sure to be fun for the whole family.

Events will kick off with a Pop-up Fire Safety Kids Club on March 30 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Kids of all ages are welcome to learn about fire safety and prevention with activities, entertainment, and a take-home craft while supplies last.

The outdoor movie series, a longstanding event of 2nd and PCH, will return on Friday, April 1 on Seaport Way from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday’s movie will be Disney’s ‘Encanto’ with songs, activities and a meet and greet with the film character Mirabel.  Movies are always free for the community to enjoy and guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blanket.

There will be Hoppin’ Photos with the ‘Hoppin Bunny’ on April 9 and April 10 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on April 16 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Seaport Way. There will also be a spring-themed backdrop and a vintage Volkswagen bus that visitors can take pictures in front of.  Crafts and activities will be provided by Family Church on Signal Hill on April 16.  Hoppin’ Photos are on a first-come-first-serve basis and a photographer will not be present. Selfies are encouraged.

The Creative Communal Makers Market will be held on April 10 from 11 a.m. and will feature hand-crafted treasures and support the local artist that made them. This event will feature an open-air market, a curated assortment of vendors, kid’s activities, a photo-op, and live music from Ernando and the Nandos from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

2ND and PCH will be celebrating Earth Day on April 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be activities such as hands-on arts and crafts and live entertainment. For additional event information and a complete list of tenants, visit www.2ndandpch.com or interact with 2ND and PCH through their Instagram or Facebook.
