Long Beach Police Shot Man with Knife after Stabbing
A Long Beach Police officer shot a man after he stabbed a woman in North Long Beach, police say.
The officer-involved shooting occurred just before 9:00 AM on Wednesday morning at the 300 block of 69th Way. Lbpd says a man refused to drop a knife when he was shot.
A woman, and the suspect were both transported to area hospitals with injuries and are expected to survive. Are related, but police would not say how exactly.
The investigation is ongoing.
