Two people wounded in West Long Beach shooting
On Wednesday October 16th at 8:50 p.m., officers from LBPD were called regarding a possible shooting in the area of Santa Fe Av and West Burnett Street.
When LBPD officers arrived they found evidence of a shooting that consisted of casings. Shortly thereafter, a male adult victim arrived at a local hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds to his lower torso. He had been taken to the hospital by family members according to LBPD spokesperson Shaunna Dandoy.

Gang Detectives were called to assist in the investigation. As the investigation continued at the shooting location, a second male adult victim was located in a nearby residence with non-life threatening wounds to his lower torso.

The Long Beach Fire Department responded and transported the victim to a local hospital in stable condition.
The investigation is possibly gang related and is ongoing
