LBPD Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Suspect Wanted for Physically Assaulting Juvenile

Update: Thanks to the help of our community— the suspect wanted for this assault has been taken into custody. Long Beach Police Department received various tips of the suspect’s potential location. LBPD  officers responded to the area of Atlantic Ave & San Antonio Dr, located the suspect and safely took him into custody.

The suspect was identified as 36-year-old David Manuel Santana Garcia, who was booked for child cruelty, assault, battery, and other public transportation charges.

LBPD seeks the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for physically assaulting a male juvenile on a Long Beach Transit bus on 9/5/21.

The suspect was last seen in the area of Atlantic Avenue and Carson Street and is described as a Male Hispanic, in their 30s, approximately 5’10”, heavyset, with short brown hair, and a goatee.
