Celebrate the holiday season in LB

It’s almost December in Long Beach and you know what that means – holiday events galore! Check out our list of events you won’t want to miss.

Uptown Village Market will be held Dec. 3 from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. at the Expo Arts Center at 4321 Atlantic Ave. This will be 65 vendors, music, and a bar.

Holiday Treats for the Animals at the Aquarium kicks off this weekend and runs through Dec. 23. There will be appearances from Santa Diver and presentations of the animals receiving special holiday treats. On weekends, there will be photo opportunities with Santa, Hanukkah storytelling, and a Kwanzaa celebration. 

Mandala Ornament Painting event will guide you through mandala meditation and create your own ornament. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Please bring your mask because events will be held inside. The event will be on Thursday, Dec. 9 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Have you ever wanted to paint a portrait of a pink Christmas tree? Pink Christmas Tree Paint and Sip is the event for you on Dec. 11 at the Hilton Long Beach at 701 W. Ocean Blvd. It will run from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. No experience is required and all supplies will be provided.

The Holiday Bash at the 2nd and PCH Shopping Center on Dec. 12 will be a family-friendly event with face painting, activities for kids, photo opportunities, and live music. This is also a pet-friendly day. The bash runs from 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.

The LB Parol Lantern Fest on Dec. 18 is all about Filipino holiday traditions. There will be parol making, live entertainment, music, dancing, food, and local vendors. This event will take place at the Historic Pine Avenue Sign at 430 Pine Ave. It will run from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. 

Disney on Ice is back in Long Beach! Catch your favorite Disney characters at the Long Beach Convention Center from Dec. 30 – Jan. 2.  You can purchase tickets here.
