Man Found Dead Near MacArthur Park

A man was found dead on Gundry Ave. early Friday morning.

The man was found suffering from injuries to the upper body shortly before 5:30 a.m.

Fire department paramedics tried to help him but declared him dead on the scene.

Long Beach Police confirmed the death is being investigated as a homicide.
